Niamh is a Leeds based ceramicist, specialising in functional porcelain ceramics. . Her work is colourful, tactile and cheerful. Niamh uses stained porcelain to create interesting colour combinations and patterns in the mould. She uses an element of randomness when creating her colourful patterns, resulting in each piece being totally unique. The work is then high fired, glazed on the inside and sanded on the outside to reveal a satin smooth surface. Niamh aims to create a cohesive voice across her collections, each piece is thoughtfully designed to bring joy to the everyday.
