Sue Clegg is a ceramicist, multidisciplinary artist and teacher whose practice is grounded in an exploration of place, memory, and lived experience. Inspired by recording places, people and memories through drawing and photography, Sue works across a range of processes and materials, investigating the dialogues that arise between them, in turn creating both representational and more abstracted pieces. Her current research focuses on the intersections of ceramics, drawing, and printmaking, through which she constructs layered visual narratives on hand built, thrown and cast pieces.
